The Fresh Market reminds me in a way...of working the hospital. When I worked at the hospital...I always had buddies in my dept...the cafeteria...housekeeping...the lab...pharmacy and the blood bank. You get my drift...working at TFM ...there are the cashiers...the gals in the bakery...Seth and the guys in produce...the various dept. A big part of the fun has been getting to know everyone. I particularly like it that Lum is the sweet Asian guy who makes the sushi...Alana is a beautiful Hispanic gal that runs the deli...Chantay is kind of our Queen Latifa and manages the cashiers...so many different backgrounds...love that.
Two of the district managers were in yesterday...they gave me the go ahead and want me to call on the special events managers at the hotels and promote our custom baskets...welcome bags...arrangements, etc. That's kind of fun...it will be interesting to see where that goes.
To give you and idea of what I'm doing...here goes. Did a couple of fun goofy arrangements today. Took a couple of bud vases...shoved a roll of toilet paper around it...tied a hot pink bow right around the middle of the roll of TP...and did an arrangement of greens, pink roses, and spray roses in the vase. Placed it...where else...in the Ladies Room! Everyone came out with a smile on their face!
Also did the fresh asparagus lined vase thing, complete with a spring bouquet...and then finished with hot pink gerber daisy's with fresh limes in the vase...and in the arrangement. Fun junk!!!

The Lexus hit a bump in the road... Came out of a restaurant tonight...the key won't turn in the ignition and the steering wheel won't move. Darn!*&&^%$#$#@%$#$#@%^(*))...BAD WORDS, BAD WORDS!!!
Will work on the tomorrow.
