Kathy...you were right! This stuff is a pain. Thankfully, I saw a doc this morning. He saw me as a walk in...EM trained at Georgetown, doing primary and urgent care. His office is right on 278...and the guy is busy as "stink!" I am now on the Alphabet Soup Pharmacopoeia...Advil for aching, Allegra for sneezing, Benedryl so I can get some sleep, Delsym to quit coughing (thanks, Kathy), Hall's of course, Vicks to breathe and of course...a Z-pack to kill the bugs! Not to mention...that I SHOULD be at Match Day...and instead this little jaunt to sickville cost me an Air Tran ticket, an office visit and the CVS bill . Do you know how many pair of shoes and handbags I could have gotten??? OK, I'll quit complaining and behave...but shoe shopping is definitely more fun!

Feeling really lousy...cough, cough. So decided that no one would want to be around me. Can't say as I'd blame them...I don't like being around me today. So will pull the plug on my trip to see my PDAT kids. Really hate to do that. Think I'll stay in bed and then find a doctor here for me.

Really can't complain...in light of the past year and a half...I've been OK. All for now...blow, sniff!

Worked today...it was busy...saw a cute place here at Harbourmaster...great view...went to the Women's Spring event tonight at church...a nice group of women...speaker was a master gardener...still feel really really lousy. No fever...just a nasty virus.

Up in the morning...will pack and fly in to Akron-Canton. Thursday is Match Day at NEOUCOM...will go to say congrads to my 6 PDAT students. Back on Friday.

Monday...Worked today...that was good...got my first Fresh Market check...that was fun. Feel like heck...not good. Sore throat...cough...achy...generalized yuckeyness! Ugh!

Working tomorrow and then to a women's spring event at church. All for now...am taking some Advil and calling it a day. Good night!

Thursday to Sunday flew...and there we were...a bowl of Special K and we were on our way to the airport. Dropped Bruce off at 10 and made it to church by 11. No Pastor Roy...a guest pastor... Oh well, next week! To Hilton Head diner...and then to the pool. The sun felt soooooo good.

HHI is St. Paddy's nuts! Big parade and tons of action down at Coligny. Went to dinner at Holy Family Church with Bob and Marion for corned beef, cabbage...the works! It was delicious.

Talked to Bruce...he got back to Columbus safe and sound. By the way, thanks Lynne...the shamrock cookies were amazing. I loved them and so did Bruce. Two thumbs up! Happy St. Paddy's!!!
