Worked in the nursery this morning at Grace CC. It seemed very familiar to my nursery days at the Chapel. The babies were adorable...0-12 months. One difference...instead of Taylor and Connor...we had names like Aubrie and Rivers.

Then to work. We were busy due to the weather. The Northeaster that blew thru Ala...has sent a ripple effect of wind and rain. Nothing like they experienced...but enough to get the Heritage pros off the course. Hence...what's for dinner? Talked with all 3 kids tonight. They are doing well. Off tomorrow.

Just a fun day at work. I log a lot of miles, but work with some really dear people on the staff.

Spent some time talking with a sweet old guy in a wheelchair. He was from Youngstown...had been in a coma at St. E's for a month...went into ARDS...got last rites twice...and was just happy to be pushed around TFM.

Then along comes a diamond laden ole' "lady" that interupts us because she wanted her complimentary 4 oz. cup of decaf now! ...I was glad she was at TFM and not in the ER. I remember many a story at the kitchen table about that type...What a %$##@!$%^&**()*&^%$#@#$%^&*()...(yes, I got her the coffee.)

She was one out of many...it was a good day. Pastor Roy in the morning!

Heritage is in full swing...no pun intended! Got to work,,,they were saving a gift basket for me to do...for the Pres. of the Heritage Classic. That was fun...Large basket, filled with goodies...trimmed with a tartan plaid bow...with a split of champagne in the center of the bow!

Out tonight for a bite to eat with a couple of ladies that I've met here at Harbourmaster.

Congratulations Laurie...on 25 years at AGMC!!! Best of everything in your "next phase of life in C'bus!"

My day off...it was nice. Had a chance to get caught up,...clean, laundry...things that fell behind since my trip to Ohio.

Talked with Two Men and a Truck...sounds like they will be good to work with on the move. They only put "my things" (not things from other families, too) on the truck. That's something that girlfriends with a lot of experience in moving have told me is important. This move is fairly easy compared to last summer...many boxes are still untouched since last year and are packed and sitting in the basement. No piano...no bedrooms...the largest item will be the sofa.

Looked at flooring this afternoon...would love to get it new and clean. Carpet holds so much dirt... DanaMarie said it really helps with allergies to get rid of the carpet. So many choices and so much $$$. We'll see on that one...it would be OK to wait, too.

Off to TFM in the morning.

The island is busy and there is an excitement about the golf tournament. It was a busy day at work... think I'm going to get one of those pedometer thingies. It would be really interesting to see just how much I walk in a day.

My time yesterday with Jeff from Windows of Hilton Head went well. Ordered a couple of plantation shutters and some blinds. White...of course !

Off tomorrow. It will be cleaning day and find-a-mover-day! Any suggestions, gratefully accepted...so send them this way.

Still watching Craig Ferguson on the Late Late Show...he makes me lol!!! Really, Out Loud! Sleep well.
