Tried to write to you last night...it was a funny thing...couldn't get my computer to compute. It had something to do with my wireless moden. Thank heavens, she was up and running again this morning.

Well, I am happy to report that the "Moving-In-Bus" is up rolling again. I have a goal that by tomorrow night things are at least presentable. That would make it two weeks from the time they dropped off all my loot! And my next move will be to "the Home" and I'll let the girls do this. I can just hear them..."can you believe Momma actually bought this junk and thought it looked great?"

Please pray with me for DanaMarie as she starts the first day of her remaining 3 yrs of anesthesia residency training and also for my special girlfriend who lost her husband.

Worked at TFM today. Once home, a dear couple popped by to see what I was up to with my decorating. They were curious about the bistro table and umbrella in the family room.

There is plenty to do...but "hit the moving-in wall!" Couldn't move. Decided to take a break this evening, watch "House" and hit it again tomorrow. Also, had a great Monday evening chat with Lynne on Tuesday! We've learned that a great way to stay connected is our "Standing Call" on Monday evenings. Definitely something I look forward to...and will do again with a girlfriend when separated by miles.

I am seeing progress. Friday will be two weeks since the truck arrived.

More tomorrow...and thankful ...for eyes that see things what needs to be done...arms that lift boxes and legs that get me where I need to do the next thing.

Had coffee with friends this morning at Java Joe's at Coligny Plaza...did a bit of shopping...and worked on unpacking the rest of the day.
At one point today, I was really to have a Move-in-Meltdown! TimeWarner installs their cables with black coaxial cables. What are they thinking! So went out...bought white at Lowes...switched it out...new cablie...no workie! Not even after a half hour on the phone with tech support...(*&&^%$%^$#@@$#$#$%^&*(bad words, bad words)...give me strength!!! They are coming out on Wed. to fix it.

Each day helps...but there is still a lot of stuff to be triaged! At one point, I couldn't find my phone in the rubble...fortunately, Roxie came to the rescue. We often meet on line late and fortunately, she was there. IM'd her...and she called, and I found the little thing between two pillows.

Worked in the nursery this morning. My co-worker was a lovely 25 y/o hispanic mother of two. She has two daughters 2y/o and 7 mos. We had a great time...a wonderful chat...and I learned something very interesting. She is a single mom and there is a program at church for single mothers. Wow!!! (...I have been convinced for a very long time that by far...the world's toughest job is being a single mom.) Hmmmmmmmmmm...wouldn't it be wonderful to help?...Absolutely! ...even if it was to babysit while they went to the grocery store. ( I remember some of my trips to Fazios with two very busy girls. It was insane...and I was convinced they were possessed by something evil:) Will call the church on Tuesday and see about it.

Tried to write yesterday...Memorial Day Weekend...I had no words. Phil 4:8 kept coming to mind "...whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, pure, lovely, of good report, think on these things..." So I thought on the good things...and "did the next thing." Of course, that meant unpacking another box !

CNN us running an excellant special called Combat Hospital focusing on ER care in the US Military's Main War Hospital, the 10th Combat Support Hospital in Iraq. Really well done...wish you could see it...(they are going to air it again tomorrow at 3PM) ...it helps me understand a little bit what Aaron will be seeing. The special features ER docs and nurses doing what according to them is cutting edge emergency care. Aaron has finished in San Antonio with the C-130 training and is home in Norfolk with Anita and Barney. DanaMarie was in a classmates wedding this weekend in Dayton...and Bruce is busy prepping for a picnic at his house for the summer interns. Next week at this time Sis will be here! Hurray!!! All the more reason to hit it now so we can play while she's here. Am off tomorrow and hope to clear a path though my room upstairs.

Ordered flowers today to place on Dan's grave. The waves of disbelief still come. Thankfully, Tik and Marshall will place them for me. They have been and continue to be a wonderful source of support...each step of the way.

Continued to work on getting things "in their place." As I unpack, so many things here have been gifts from you. They are a wonderful, tangible reminder of precious friendships, love, support and many good times. So,... a Springsteen CD, a teapot, a wicker chair, ...on and on...are all precious reminders of very precious friends. Thank you for warming up the place! Love, Sue
