Oh my gosh, what a time we had today. After coffee, we went and got manicures together. I go to Golden Nail...John and his wife are the owner/operators. He is kind of an Asian "Don Rickles" and I told him to take good care of Jamie. Once finished, we were impressed with our 20 fabulous digits!
A little shopping for...what else??? Flip-flops!!! Then...lunch at Plantation Cafe...Jamie tried grits! There ya go!...then back to 401. Once home, she's ready to ride bikes on the beach. Out come the bikes and off we go

...approx. 2 miles to the beach, then from Shipyard down past Coligny. We rode down where the waves come in... and thru the water as it lapped up onto the beach. Sooooooo fun...and again I am reminded...and again, I am thankful...that God has placed amazing young people, this time, Jamie, in my life. Those bikes have been sitting outside since May 18th...and it took her saying "let's go." I have to tell you...it was a wonderful time. I'll do it again...often, and think of Jamie each time I go.
Done...Oh no! Left 401 at 2:30 and headed up Rte. 278 to meet up with Scott at Live Oac water sports. It was kind of overcast outside...hmmmm, we wondered whether or not to go out. Decided, what the heck, we can only get a little wet...and can always come back in. So, off we go...the three of us, with Scott at the helm of this lovely new 24 ft. white ski boat. Out on the water we saw Pinkney Island, a wild life reserve, deer roaming about on the island, dolphins, eagles, a blue heron, terns hmmmmmmmmm, think that's it. Then Jamie hopped in and waterskied for a bit. She did great. When she was done...I hopped in and we went tubing. Scott did his best to dump us...but we hung on!
A bite of dinner tonight at Marleys...a little reggae with our seafood was just right! Back home and popped in a movie...
No Surprise...try as I might...just couldn't stay awake.
All for now...
from a thankful lady at 401.
Good Night.
