Just wrapping up my day watching LeBron on SNL. The Solid Gold dancers were a lot of fun .

Today was one of those days that you enjoy staying home and getting caught up. It was a good and productive day.

Talked with all three kids. Bruce was hoping to get a couple hours out on the boat. DanaMarie was heading into the hospital to do a 7p-7am shift. Sis also stayed home...also got things caught up...and talked with Aaron. Please keep him in your prayers. It's basically hours and hours of boredom interspersed with moments of very high anxiety. On one run, he had a patient that required 50 units to keep him going. Thank you for praying for the kids.

A nice day.

Started it off folding laundry with "the boss!" Bruce Springsteen gave a concert this morning on the Today show. That was good...and made me think of some friends that are true fans of Bruce and the band.

Mitzi and Opal went to the beauty parlor...then I went to the gym...later, had dinner with a gal I met at church.

It's a beautiful weekend here...and from what I hear...it's beautiful there, too.

Never had a friend from Moldova before...now I do . Sergie is a foreign exchange student that has worked this summer at TFM. At 22 y/o he's a rather enterprising young man...as evidenced by his thriving "junk" bicycle business that he's running outside TFM! You can imagine...it drives the manager, Laurie, absolutely nuts! On top of that...he's shipped one car back to Moldova and is now working on #2! Just one of the many "fun" characters at TFM.

I did hear from Aaron...he's in week 3 of his deployment. Hasn't had to make a run yet. That's good news from the "no" injuries standpoint...however, it does lend itself to a situation in which he is battling bordom. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers.

A good morning at TFM. Did a couple of large displays. That's fun. Never quite know what I'll be doing...that's one of the things I like about my little job.

Christina was brutal...we had a good time.

Then to meet with Pastor Roy to discuss the single moms program. It's growning. As it worked out...choir practice was cancelled and I was able to go to the mom's dinner tonight. It's really well done. The moms arrive with their kids at 5:30...kids and moms eat dinner together. The table is set...dinner is served...and everything is cleaned up by the volunteers. Pastor Roy said that some of the gals told him that Wed. dinner's are the best they have during their week.

I helped with the kids and the clean-up.

Haven't heard from Aaron. Will get an update from Sis next time I talk to her.

It was a crazy, busy day at the store. Then, to top it off...one of the "big muck-ey-mucks" from corporate came down. It's an interesting process to watch...they come in...walk around...say what they "don't" like and then walk away...but don't give direction for corrections to implement what they "do" want...in an effort to try and make improvements based on what they "think" would please the "big muck-ey-muck!" everyone scurries about...and things get moved around the store. Quite a game! In hospital terms...it would be like the doctor coming into the room and says "I think the patient has a disease"...and leaves without orders for a treatment plan. Retail is definitely it's own world!

Out tonight for dinner with my Harbourmaster buddies. Went to Wild Wings. They do a season opener for the "locals" once the vacation season is over. Elwood and the gang know where all the "specials" take place. Then to the gym...watched "Dancing With The Stars" while I was doing my own dance on the EFX! It's actually a great way to watch my show.

TFM in the morning... workout with Christina @1pm ...meet with Pastor Roy @ 3pm to talk about the ministry to single moms...choir practice @ 6:15pm. I better go to bed and get some rest!!! Sleep well...
