Today was one of those wonderful days...you know, ...one of those rare days that you have nothing specific planned. What a gift. Love it. Looking forward to finishing my book.
Worked out...and received a call from Connie. She offered to come over and teach me to knit. What fun!

...even better than the knitting was the chatting. We had a great time and made plans to continue our chat next Wed.
Speaking of chatting...forgot to tell you that yesterday, I spoke with Bob and Rita Schelble. They are doing very well and are heading down this way. (Knowing that... a couple days prior, I had shot off an email and invited then to stop by 401.) Good News!...They called to say they are going to try and come. The drive from Wisc. to their condo in Alabama is 1200 miles(ugh!). Looks like they'll drive down...get settled and then pop over. Would love to show them HHI.
Also had a chance to talk with Cindy Elson. You see...I had placed an order at Femailcreations.com and goofed it up! Instead of heading to 401...it's headed to Alder Run Way. Oooooooooops! Called to warn Cindy. Sorry. (FYI...I had ordered two signs. One sign absolutely made me lol! It says..........."Who Fired The Maid?" Thought it would be perfect by the laundry. The other reads..."At the beach...time you enjoyed wasting, is not time wasted." by T.S. Eliot.) My mistake became a good opportunity to chat and get caught up....thanks so much, Cindy.
Also heard from Jamie. She called today. She's in DC doing research on her thesis. What a great young woman.... hope to see her when she heads down to Florida with her frisbee team in March.
It's quiet and peaceful at #401.
Have a good night.
Much love, Sue
