It would seem to me that people with the flu should know to stay home. Not so at the Fresh Market...got the bug again. However, this time, rather than John Wayne-ing it...I threw in the towel and headed to the doc. Talked with Sis. Aaron is home and in the midst of returning to life in the real world. He has mandatory meetings and about two weeks off to do what he needs to do and get his "stuff" reorganized. Can't wait to talk with him and hear the stories first hand.

Not wanting to spread the "bug" with the folks at Single Moms...I'll be home tonight.

Though I'm only an hour away, I was waiting to explore Savannah with someone who knew their way around. It turns out that Janney has been there many many times with her family and knows Savannah very well. The architecture and gardens are gorgeous. As she showed me around, I felt like I was walking thru a Southern novel. It was a good day.

To Savannah/Hilton Head Intn'l for her 5:40 flight and then back to HHI.

Aaron's home ...told Sis to have a nice weekend and give me a call whenever. I think Nick and Linda were leaving Norfolk today and heading back to Salem, IN.

Janney and I had a lovely day. Church this morning...a little more shopping at Shelter Cove Mall...and a nice beach walk. It was 61 and sunny today. We watched the Red Carpet and the SAG Awards.

To Savannah tomorrow. Janney is very familiar with the city...so she's going to show me the ropes. Her plane departs from Sav. at 5:30 p.m. It's been a great time.

Hurray!!!
As of tonight...Aaron is on US soil in Maine and will be home tomorrow night! Thank you, thank you for all your prayers.

Talked with Sis and as you'd expect...she's thrilled, delerious...crazy, happy and running around doing a gazillion things. Linda and Nick drove in to be there when Aaron gets in. Talked with Linda...........she's so excited her son's coming home. Truly a banner day...only to be topped by tomorrow when his feet hit the tarmac in Norfolk.

Janney and I had a great day...and I heard from Kevin Derus via email. How fun is that!!! Kev is well.

It's really chilly but is to warm up a bit tomorrow.

She's here! Janney arrived in Savannah ON TIME @ 5:00 pm.  That's especially good news, considering she flew Delta which was written up today as one of the five worst airlines in the US.

A tuna burger at Truffles...and then home to 401, sans all the boxes and debris. She's comfy...cozy and (since she's been up since 3:30 am)...snoozing away upstairs.

It's very chilly and supposed to stay that way for a couple days...darn.

I heard from DanaMarie and Bruce...they are fine. Sis is on call.
No word on Aaron's status. Will write as soon as I know anymore.
