Pastor Roy had a good message this morning and then off to watch the babes. That's fun.......for an hour ( Just kidding...it's really been a good thing...and I love being with the munchkins. ) Then to grab some salads and head to the beach. Met Monica for some solar therapy. It was a good time. In the evening, we went to... Street Meet...my favorite Cheers kind of pub for the best veggie burger on the island( good, but not as good as NorthStar in C'bus ).

A good day, especially in light of an episode of abd. pain last evening. Was worried that it might be doing a repeat of 2000, but thankfully, things settled down. (A veggie burger today, certainly beats an N/G tube and a PCA any day.)

Came home and watched the Memorial Day Concert on PBS. It was so moving and honoring of those who have given the ultimate. I especially liked the phase used by the host..."as long as we remember, they are truly never really gone." It applies to more than the vets, doesn't it? Cindy and Tom placed roses from the girls and me for Dan at Holy Cross ...thank you so much.

Will work tomorrow at TFM...off on Tuesday.

The truck unloaded 3 large pallet of flowers this morning. That means a ton of lifting, cutting and toting boxes and buckets of flowers. Honestly, the physical part of my job is one of my favorite things...and it also means I sleep good that night!

Talked with Columbus...my license is activated. Now onto jumping thru the South Carolina and Georgia hoops. ( Savannah is only an hour away and has two large hospitals...hence the need to do Georgia, too.)

Home tomorrow...still playing catch-up from last week.

Can't believe that it's Memorial Day weekend. Doesn't seem possible. Have a great weekend.

Watched Idol from the very beginning.  Was all set to enjoy a cup of tea...my couch...and the finale. No Luck! the audio was out!!!!!! *&^%$#@!#$%^&*()_(*&^%$#@%^&*()_!!!!!!! DARN! and my David didn't win.

It was a great day down here...had a little sun therapy after i finished work.

Well, back to CNN and my fav, Anderson Cooper...and this unending campaign. It's a really long time til November.

Talked with Sissy and DanaMarie. Sissy is doing well...feeling good...and taking her anticoagulants. DanaMarie was driving home from Journal Club and ready to put her feet up. She's working straight thru til next weekend.

Please keep the Gradisek Family in your prayers. Dick's dad, Dr. F. Gradisek, passed away. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with this handsome, charming gentleman. He was inspiring and made 90 years old look handsome, and delightfully fun. Thank you for keeping them in your prayers.

Worked today at TFM...it was busy and good to be back.

Tonight was dinner at Wild Wings with the Harbourmaster gang. 17 of us...what a great bunch. Then home to watch DWTS and Idol finale.
My picks............David Archulletta and I know it should be Kristi....but I love Jason! They have been incredible to watch.

Tomorrow...TFM...some solar therapy (on Shipyard beach)...and then back to 401 to catch up after a week away.
