Today was a good day.

Busy...but finally, getting into the groove at OSCHH. Looking back to a month ago...
I can see steps in the right direction. Yeah!

The next thing tomorrow....work at 401...and a Zonta meeting.

It's the lowest I've seen gas in a long time down here...it was still $70.00 to fill up. Good Grief!

It was a busy day at OSCHH. The schedule looked pretty benign...but sometimes it's not the cases...but the patients. You understand.

I took care of a little guy...3 years old. That's a problem...I've never done kids...
other than my own. That's definitely going to be a stretch.

The schedule tomorrow is packed...will let you know how it goes.

Heard from DanaMarie as she was heading into the hospital. She had a good night last night...let's hope for two in a row.

Learning each day...

I remember one time I wanted to teach Anita something...can't remember just what it was...doesn't matter. After my very best effort to explain just what I thought she needed to learn...she looked at me very frustrated and said, "but Momma, ...I'm tired of lessons!"

Oh, baby...I hear ya. Am ready for the learning to end and "cool" to begin!

Fell asleep. I have 70 pages left to finish "The Shack." Am enjoying so much that I don't want to rush my way thru just to finish.

Watched the munchkins at church...went to the beach with Monica...came home and cleaned. Am ashamed to say...I just got my suitcase put away from St Louis.

Did talk to the kids. Sissy is out with friends tonight and plans to return to work Tuesday. Bruce is good/working hard and...said it was really nice today in C'bus. DanaMarie is on all night tonight at the hospital.

Back to the surgicenter at 7........
more to learn....the pace is unbelievable!

This will be short. It's 11:30, just home from the couples bridal shower...had coffee afterwards with my girlfriend and now am home. Have only 75 pages left in my book that I'm reading...The Shack. Am curled up in bed with a cup of decaf...the froggies are chirping outside...and I'm ready to read. Really like the way this author writes.

Will let you know what I think about it...tomorrow.
