Worked out this morning and then headed to OSCHH. The days seem to fly by. Am learning their protocols and getting acquainted with the staff. They have some really good nurses.

..one more day and then off to the wedding. This should be fun...a celebration lasting over 3 days.

Worked today and then met a friend for dinner. Things are coming together, but still feel like I have a ton to learn about their system.

Thought I'd give you an update on what's happening over the next few weeks.....

I'll work Tues and Wed at the Outpatient Surgery Center. Early Thursday morning...I'll fly to Hartford, Conn and pick up a rental car. Will drive to Falls Village, Conn for the Bleyer Wedding.

I'll spend the 3rd - 6th at the wedding and then fly home.

The next week Sissy will fly to St Louis on Monday the 7th and have surgery on her arm on the 8th. She'll be in St Louis for two weeks. Aaron will do the first week and I'll be there the second.

I'll work the 7th-11th @ OSCHH and then fly to St Louis on the 12th. Will be with Sissy thru the 19th...and then back to HHI.

Sis is traveling to St Louis because the surgeon that does a lot of this type of shoulder surgery practices @ Wash U.

On another note...DanaMarie has been selected as one of two residents in her program to serve as Junior Chief Residents in her anesthesia program. She'll serve in this position for this year and move into the Senior Chief slot her 4th year. This is the first time in the history or the program that a woman has been has been selected. Go, BabyGirl...Go!!!

Watched the Olympic Trials for swimming this evening.

Instantly, I could smell the chlorine...and remembered years of driving to practice...weekends at swimming meets...hours and hours of boredom interspersed with moments of stark terror...as the kids would get in "the blocks" and swim their hearts out!  I can see it like it was yesterday.  Great memories...incredible lessons learned.After church and the munchkins...did a little solar therapy with Monica...however it was cut short by a very large black cloud. 

Home to housework...talked with the girls and Bruce.  They are doing well.  Sissy's busy getting things ready for her boards.Back to OSCHH in the morning.Have a good week.....

A good day to start to get things done around here. Worked on the house and me...roots are looking good for the Bleyer wedding!!!

Just a normal day...it was wonderful.Tomorrow...
Church...munchkins...beach with Monica...and dinner with Laurie, my boss from the Fresh Market.

Please keep Sissy in your prayers. Surgery is scheduled for July 8th in St. Louis. She'll be there 2 weeks...the first in the hospital and the second for therapy. Aaron will be there and then I'll fly in on the 12th....til the 19th.

Hope the storms have stopped up there.
