Papa John's to the rescue! In light of the wacky schedule today...decided to let Papa do the cooking. Armed with pizza, chicken strips, bread sticks and cookies...my carbo load was a hit with the kids and mommas. Took in some of the fashions from the Hospice Center to show the gals...they were pleasantly surprised.

TFM Wine Tasting went really well. They do a really nice job. The food served at each of the stations was delicious. When I was selling raffle tickets ...it was "deja vu"...all over again!

Flying out at 11 a.m....in at 4:14 .

Busy at the Fresh Market...A Wine Tasting fundraiser tomorrow evening. Will go in at 7...work til noon...get things together for Single Moms...(the other members of the team are out of commission)...have dinner with the gals...and then go back to the store and do the Wine Tasting. It's for a great cause...Deep Well. They raise money to offer financial assistance to islanders that hit a tough spot in the road. They do a great job.

Worked this afternoon on the fashion show at Hospice...a.k.a...the
Neiman Marcus of thrift stores. It's interesting that a number of pieces still have the tags on them...They've never been worn!

Cold weather is supposed to be moving in...
I think it's to get me ready for NE Ohio!

This week is going to fly by. Plans are still to arrive Thurs the 28th @ CAK and head to Mariachi's arriving at 5:30.

The remainder of the weekend is devoted to helping with the flowers for...and attending the Bar Mitzvah.

Am really looking forward to working with Neil...he's better on his worst day than I'll ever be !

Bob and Rita called...they arrived back at their condo in Orange Beach safe and sound.

Church today...followed by lunch with Suzi Lee....then to a girlfriend Oscar gathering. It was fun . Leslie asked us to show up dressed for the event...rolled out the Red Carpet...and we had front row seats in her Harbourmaster family room.

A good chat with Bruce made my day.
It was a good Sunday.

After breakfast and a chat...we started out HHI tour. We visited Harbourtown, climbed the lighthouse steps, had lunch at the girls favorite, the Crazy Crab...stopped by the Salty Dog shop, the Fresh Market and drove down next to the beach and checked out the "beach houses." The sun never peaked out...and the rain drizzled throughout the day.

6-8 p.m. was Nip and Nibble with Harbourmaster friends. They enjoyed chatting with Bob and Rita...it was a nice time.

Up early...they hope to be on the road by 7 a.m. The weather looks like it will clear and they'll drive on clear dry roads in the sun. It's been a lovely visit.

In a few days I'll be in Akron.........Wow!
