A nice day to work at home and have lunch with a friend. Met Duchess at Bible Study. She's an accomplished pianist...makes CD's. They're really wonderful.

It's fun...........she's a real blessing. She's lived here for many years...raised her boys here...and knows the island like a tour guide . She took me for a tour of some areas in Sea Pines and North Forrest Beach that I hadn't seen.

To The Fresh Market tomorrow. Betsy's running in a marathon...so swapped work schedules. Some of the Single Momma's coming over tomorrow evening.

Came home from church last night, made a beeline to the couch. Next thing I know, it's 2:00am...and Mitzi and Opal are fast asleep on the couch, too.

It's a beautiful day in my neighborhood, and I'm off to a Zonta meeting. That's the group that supports women's charities here on the island.

Had a wonderful chat with Dorothy Jackson this morning. What an amazing lady. Please keep her in your prayers...she's got the bug, too.

Back to work this morning.....glad to be there. Here was the surprise.....the staff looked just like I have been feeling. The "bug" took a second trip around TFM! Most unpleasant!!! But...definitely improving.(When I popped out for lunch...wanted to go to the beach. It was 72 and beau-ti-ful! )

Newsflash of the day...Continental has added a nonstop flight from Cleveland Hopkins to Savannah. In 2 hrs...I'm there! That is wonderful news. Have already booked my flights for June and October.

It was a foggy, cloudy morning here on the island.  As I told a girlfriend...the kind of morning that lends itself to getting things done around the house. Had a quiet time in my rocker on the deck.

As the fog lifted from the island...it reminded me of what I am experiencing personally. The fog continues to clear from my brain...as time does her healing work, I can see clearer now.

The sun came out this afternoon... . Thank you!
