Hurray!!!
As of tonight...Aaron is on US soil in Maine and will be home tomorrow night! Thank you, thank you for all your prayers.

Talked with Sis and as you'd expect...she's thrilled, delerious...crazy, happy and running around doing a gazillion things. Linda and Nick drove in to be there when Aaron gets in. Talked with Linda...........she's so excited her son's coming home. Truly a banner day...only to be topped by tomorrow when his feet hit the tarmac in Norfolk.

Janney and I had a great day...and I heard from Kevin Derus via email. How fun is that!!! Kev is well.

It's really chilly but is to warm up a bit tomorrow.

She's here! Janney arrived in Savannah ON TIME @ 5:00 pm.  That's especially good news, considering she flew Delta which was written up today as one of the five worst airlines in the US.

A tuna burger at Truffles...and then home to 401, sans all the boxes and debris. She's comfy...cozy and (since she's been up since 3:30 am)...snoozing away upstairs.

It's very chilly and supposed to stay that way for a couple days...darn.

I heard from DanaMarie and Bruce...they are fine. Sis is on call.
No word on Aaron's status. Will write as soon as I know anymore.

Another step along the way...the group is coming together.  It's a really wonderful group of young moms.

Will pick up Janney tomorrow at 5pm in Savannah. Just checked the weather...it's supposed to be in the 70's ...next week. That's not what I was hoping for!

Hear from Sis tonight after church... (in light of what happened last week)...I'm afraid to hope to much, but we are hopeful that Aaron will be headed home soon. Please, .........keep them in your prayers.

After work, prepped for single mom's study. 

In the process, I came across this quote by Richard J. Foster from his book Celebration of Discipline.  Thought you'd enjoy his message, too.

It reminded me an Elisabeth Elliot's book that I read a very long time ago, ...Discipline the Glad Surrender, and more recently, lessons from Rabbi Kushner's book ...Overcoming Life's Disappointments.  ( I recommend both  !)Have a great day.Love, Sue

Talked with Sis today. No new news. She spoke with Aaron today...he's frustrated dealing with the military "beauracrazy".
Will let you know what's happening as soon as I hear something.

Chilly...it's 39 right now, but feels like 33 according to AOL. It's supposed to warm up a bit. Hope so...for Jan. Really looking forward to Thursday and picking her up at the airport in Savannah.

It was a good productive day.
