Since this is my first Thanksgiving in the grocery business...I must say, it's fascinating. You can't possibly imagine the palettes of food that continue to roll in...I've never seen so many pumpkin pies and turkeys. We also do prepared Thanksgiving Dinners. You just order, pick up and heat up your turkey dinner. Those have been so popular...they aren't taking any more orders.
In the midst of all this...the flowers are beautiful and a plenty. Just today I cut 444 dozen roses....and that doesn't includes the other varieties of posies.
Apparently, all this will fly out of the doors tomorrow and Wed. Will let you know.
It doesn't seem possible that I just got back from Ohio two weeks ago tonight...and will be packing tomorrow night to fly to Louisville. To quote Sis..."isn't it amazing what lengths we Americans will go to and how far we'll travel, just to sit around and eat a lot of food!!!"
Have a great day tomorrow and at all costs...
Stay away from the grocery store.
Love always, Sue
