I found her! Her name is Glenda...and like the good witch...she worked her magic on my roots. She's a great colorist...that's a good thing...with tons of experience...that's a good thing. I met her at church, in the choir. And if she messes up my roots...I'll invoke the power of the Almighty!!!

Seriously, on a more important note...Brian is doing well. Talked with him tonight! He sounded great! DanaMarie is following up on the doctors orders and Bri is in good hands...and he better follow Dr. Dana's orders! That's VerySeriously!

Talked with DanaMarie today...Brian is doing great. Thank you for caring and praying.

Had a good day today...church and choir practice at Grace then a lovely dinner with Dr. Howard and Sue Shapiro. They have a place down here and called when they arrived on the HHI.

Tomorrow is insurance day. Will follow up with the folks at Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina in the morning and then have an appointment to discuss long term care with a representative that carries the big two...Met Life and John Hancock. Will let you know how it goes.

Next week at this time we'll be at the Babes Concert! Can't wait! See you soon.

Brian was discharged this afternoon and they're home watching football and eating pizza tonight. Thanks, guys...You're the best.

Just got a call from DanaMarie...In a nutshell...Things are going well...and they hope to come home this afternoon.

For my medical brother's and sister...his EKG has classic changes in all leads...the echo shows no evidence of effusion...his pain is being managed well...he did brady down to the 30's and got symptomatic...and bounced right back...don't know if the troponin bumped...labs aren't back yet. He looks good this morning and DanaMarie is very happy with the team there in Louisville.

She did tell me that the night that Brian started getting uncomfortable...Buckeye did not leave his side. He knew that something wasn't right...followed him everywhere...laid right next to him and licked his face.

Dana sounds good this mornig...as she said..."Brian's fine...so, I'm fine." They are quite a precious pair. Thanks for praying...from not only me...but also Dana. She knew that I'd have you 'on the team...and on your knees.'

I am blessed with the best friends in the world.

Got a call today from DanaMarie. She was calling from the hospital. Brian has been admitted for an episode of pericarditis. Essentially, it is an inflamation of the sac around the heart. The inflammation causes pain which is relieved with pain medication. They are doing a work-up and Dana says the physicians caring for him are excellant.

At this time, he's doing well and they are planning on coming home tomorrow. I'll keep you updated. Thank you for keeping Brian in your prayers.
