Blueberry muffins and breakfast on the deck...a workout at Beach City Fitness and then off to the beach. The temp was in the upper 70's...once the breeze settled it was a perfect beach day.

Dinner tonight at Marley's, a Caribbean style restaurant, was terrific. It's becoming a favorite. Then to see the new George Clooney movie...Michael Clayton. George does a great job...just plan on a very serious story. No chuckles in this one.

Tomorrow is Sissy's birthday.

A great day. Sunny...warm...and you should have seen Barney at the beach. What fun. He absolutely loved it. Sis would throw his floatie toy and off he's go. He really did great swimming in the ocean.

This evening the girls were hungry for hush puppies. Their favorite came from Crazy Crab down in Sea Pines. So...of course, off we went. They weren't disappointed. It was a great evening, then home to watch Grey's.

It was a good beachy day.

DanaMarie and Brian arrived on time into Savannah. They're great...and it was instant fun in the car on the way home. The only change is Dana's hairdo...it's short! and straight. Sis is also short...and curly. The only casualty so far...one starfish. It seems that Barney thought the starfish that I hotglued to the mirrror in the entryway was a Milk Bone. Fortunately, the Barnster didn't pull the entire mirror down and get hurt. That would have been bad...this can be easily repaired with a quick trip to Michaels, one starfish and a little more hot glue.

Once home to 401...and the 5 minute tour...(that's all it takes)...and we spent the rest of the evening eating junk food around the table and playing with the dogs.

I'm bushed...and will sleep like a log.
I always sleep the best when the girls ( & now Brian, Bruce and/or Aaron, too) are home and under the roof. It's just a Mom-thing! ( I know you smiled, nodded and understand. )

Sis and Barney arrived tonight at 8. All is well. Barney, Mitzi and Opal "tolerate" one another. Although, Mitzi is the most vocal about the her tolerance.

It was a good day at the Market...mostly I'm sure because I knew Sis was on her way. However, a couple of things did turn out really good. One was a cookbook display that I finished by breaking open a bag of flour and sprinkling it all around. It worked!!!

Now, to get DanaMarie and Brian here tomorrow night. It will be great. The Good Lord knows that I'll be wishing Bruce and Aaron were here, too. (but if that were the case...it would be a little tight at 401! And to think...I grew up in a family of 4 with only one bathroom and one telephone.

It was a beautiful day On Hilton Head. Gorgeous! Mitzi and Opal helped me work around 401 this morning and then off to Beach City Fitness. Christina kicked my posterior "big time!" Love her . Thank heavens...Just found the Advil bottle.

Then to Lowes...left armed with white spray paint...x 5 cans. Once home...sanded and tacked the little brown wicker bistro table and four chairs. Now that we have 2 beautiful white rockers on the deck...it's time for some spray paint to complete the look. Those black wrought iron legs x 20 took some time. All in all, I like the results. They could really use another coat...will save that for another day.

Sis is on call tonight. Depending on her shift...she will drive in on Tues or Wed. DanaMarie and Brian will get into Savannah at 9:30 Wed. evening.

Back to TFM in the morning. I'm ready to go...the time working on things here has been good...but I'm ready to get back.
