Popped over to Harbourtown and South Beach today. Lunched at the Salty Dog Cafe. Back to Shipyard and to the beach. It was a great beach afternoon.

This evening we saw Bourne Ultimatum.

That was crazy...between the filming technique...and the music...it was non-stop! What a hoot.

Am falling asleep while I watch Craig Ferguson.

A great day here. Took Jamie to my favorite bagel shop this morning, then did breakfast on the beach. It was a great day on the beach...not to hot, a nice breeze...great conversation...doesn't get any better. (Jamie liked my beach) .

We made it to my gym...and then The Fresh Market. Jamie was in a cooking mood...and she CAN cook!

Tonight, watched the second installment by Christiane Amanpour on God's Warriors covering Islam.

It is so good to see her...she looks terrific. We were starved...so thanks to the GPS in my phone...we found 311 Congress St. in Savannah. That's where the Lady and Sons Restaurant is located. What a time...hot biscuits, corn bread, fried green tomatoes to start...and finished with banana pudding and peach cobbler.

Once home Jamie got the 5 minute tour...a hot shower and now we're watching Christianne Amanpour.

What a great evening.......love it!

Will work til noon...get Mitzi and Opal bathed and fluffed...and head to Savannah at 2:30. We should be back on Hilton Head around 5:30pm.

I've heard back from Jan, Cindy, Lynne, Kathy, Branka, Sandy for the 28th. Please don't hesitate (due to the name of the group) ...It's a great evening/girlfriend time. Remember our fun at Menopause the Musical and Respect!

Watched CNN's special tonight on God's Warriors...two more evenings to go...it's very informative.

Last year Lynne and I had one of those "spur of the moment" fun girlfriend times. Without any info, we headed up to Playhouse Square to see 4 Bitchin' Babes! Lucky to get in to this Sold Out event...we laughed and cried as we were entertained by 4 talented women. Part rock, part folk and part comedy...we had a great time. It was just one of those things that clicked...and we both knew that the next time they were in town...we'd be there. Well, here's the good news...Am writing today to give you info about their upcoming concert. It's Sunday, Oct. 28th at 7 P.M....I'm heading home on Oct. 27th, to be in town. Their website is www.fourbitchinbabes.com Tickets are $34.00. I'll order them so please get back to me.

I called Playhouse Square today. Tickets are selling and in light of last years Sell Out crowd...I want to get things ordered by next Monday. Let me know if you're interested.

In the meantime, I'm really looking forward to Jamie's visit. She'll be here on Wed.

Talked with Sis about Aaron's upcoming deployment. Knowing how tough it is...I offered to come to Langley to be with her, when Aaron ships out. ( The day after Dan shipped out to Diego Garcia, and the only time in my life...I fainted. I had cried and cried...hadn't eaten...was in the OR scrubbed on an carotid endarterectomy and nearly landed in the guys neck! Literally, everything went black...and the next thing I remember, Dr. Dart was sliding me down a cold green tile wall and said, "Sue, I thought you were admiring my work! You swooned!!!" I was so embarrassed.)

So I'm heading to Virginia. At this time, we think it will be Sept. 4th. Please keep them in your prayers.
