I heard from Lynne and she wondered what happened with the raccoon. Well, I should have included that piece!

When Mr. Gator dropped the trap with the raccoon into the lagoon...
the raccoon drowned ...and the gator worked and worked to get in trap open to eat him. So far as we know...the trap is still at the bottom of the lagoon...and nobody's been interested in going in to find it!

It was a good day at TFM...then home to do laundry. Naomi and Elwood popped by and invited me to dinner with them tomorrow evening! They are just dear

Time to throw another load in the dryer!

After work today, went to dinner with 2 girlfriends from Harbourmaster.

During dinner, I heard the most recent gator story. Yesterday, a raccoon was spotted at Joy and Ted's just down the lagoon from 401. Ted's son works with the wildlife commission here on the island, which is why Ted happened to have a suitable trap. Long story short...1 trap and 1 can of cat food later, the raccoon was safely secured inside the trap. No problem! Until Ted's son could come and pick up the trapped raccoon, the trap was placed just off their deck. (Keep in mind this is also my lagoon!!!) When they looked out to check on Mr. Raccoon, much to their surprise, they saw him nose to nose and eyeball to eyeball with Mr. Gator!

In an attempt to shoo the gator away, they made tons of racket! No dice! Mr. Gator picked up the trap and dropped it right in the lagoon...only to follow and try to get his "lunch" out of the trap!

True story! They caught it on film. Hopefully, I'll be able to add them to the blog gallery.

Meanwhile, my two wild animals need to go for a walk! ...we'll walk carefully...and that will NOT be near the lagoon. Have a great Wed. Love, Sue

Can't complain...just wish I could have studied on the beach when I was in nursing school .

Just watched the CNN You Tube Debate. Never done before. Interesting...they put Hilary in pink and they give her high marks. I think we're in trouble. Doesn't anybody remember what she did with the Healthcare College Initiative when Bill was in office??? And, Dennis Kucinich is on the platform as a presidential candidate....Heaven help us all!!!and they expect us to take them seriously???

Just watched a CCF advertisement on TV! Amazing how small our world is...

Just a beautiful day today on HHI. Sunny...breezy... wonderful.
11:00 a.m. service at Grace. Tik and Marshall met Pastor Roy! It was a great morning.

Then to Coligny Plaza...the old downtown of HHI...for brunch and shopping.

Tik and Marshall will head out in the morning for Akron. The past 4 days have flown by.

Then off to do a little tour of the island and some shopping. We did Harbourtown and South Beach. It was an absolutely gorgeous day today. Couldn't have been more beautiful.

Heard tonight that Sandy is a grandma! Soma did great...the little girl is 6 lb. 10 oz. and doing great. I hear that she has her daddy's dimple right in the middle of her chin Little do Soma and Miles know that from this day forward...they will forever wear their heart on their sleeve.
