A beach walk...a bike ride...good conversation...dinner at 401...
and "The Queen." All part of an easy island day. Throw in a couple of baths for Mitzi and Opal. That's always interesting .

Naomi and Elwood popped in to say Hi to Tik and Marshall. They will celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversay tomorrow. Elwood asked me to make her a red rose corsage. Here's to a great day for them.

Saw the Beacon article about AGMC-CCF. Interesting.

Tik and Marshall arrived in safe and sound. They surprised me! I was doing an arrangement...happened to look up and Voila'! There they were.

We had a little lunch at ...where else??? ...the Hilton Head Diner...Then,gave them the little 401 tour! That doesn't take very long Then a good girlfriend chat with Tik, while Marshall decided to catch some zzzzzzzzzzzz's .
Next, a quick trip to the beach...didn't stay...a storm was moving in. Dinner tonight at a Gullah restaurant at Pineland Station. You can't imagine how good everything tasted. It's just so much fun having them here

Once home...it was a Blockbuster evening.
Hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow for a good beach day.

It's exactly 6 months today since I arrived here on HHI for R&R...rest and reflection. Unbelievable! In many ways it seems more like 6 weeks. I am thankful to be at this point! 401 is turning into a comfy little spot...and The Fresh Market job and staff is fun. I really enjoy it.

As I signed onto the blog tonight to write to you, there were exactly 3000 visits to the blog. That's unbelievable to me...! especially considering who's doing the writing.
Have been wondering...who is reading this little blog? I know a few...some from Ohio, Wisconsin, Colorado, New York, and Texas. Please drop me a line and say hi!

Dinner tonight with friends. Took them to my favorite little place in the RV park. The Sunset Grille did not disappoint!

Time to snooze........need to start the second half of my first year on my toes. That's all tonight from 401!

The shower project is done. It's white and looks OK...however, I need to repaint the area where they taped it off
They peeled the paint off the walls!!! hrrrrrrrrrummmph. ( Not what I wanted to do. )

Bible Study tonight. Prepped today on the beach...that's fun. It's always good to go. I always get something out of it.
