It was a good day...at work and here at 401. I can see things coming together. Strange thing...as I get closer to having things in place... ...on another level...I can feel the waves waiting in the wings. I know there are more lessons to learn.

I was chatting with a friend today... They asked how the move was going and then said..."so you're done with Ohio." Immediately, I said..."No, never. Akron, Cleveland and my friends are woven into the fabric of my life...and I'll never be done with Ohio. There is such a big part of my life there...I'll never leave. Mentally and emotionally speaking...a huge part of my heart will always be in NE Ohio."

Actually, I'll be heading home the first week of July...will post dates and plans as they come together.

Looking forward to seeing you...in the meantime, if you have anything that needs to be cleaned...save it for me. I'm a pro!!! Love, Hilda

Hi...So good to find out that many of you also enjoy Lindbergh's "A Gift From the Sea." Love it when you write back !

Here's a question for you...I did the recommended protocol for washing and hanging my white sheers...and hung them up wet, right from the washer. They look horrible!!! Like I knotted them and tossed them in the dryer. Short of "ironing" (God forbid!) What can I do??? I have no interest in ironing 28 panels of sheers.

I'm really encouraged about the progress in getting things put away. It's going to be a nice little place.

Work is going well. There tomorrow and Thursday. Am helping one of the gals that works at TFM with flowers for her nephews wedding on Friday and Saturday. (Sometimes I feel a bit guilty for not getting a real job and heading off to the hospital...but it passes .)

Whenever I'm cleaning, with my babushka on, I turn into "Hilda the hausfrau." Today, Hilda had a great day...she got lots done . Since I also want to be a summer beach girl, it's a good thing that Hilda got clicking! I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel...actually, think I'll be able to start heading back to Beach City Fitness soon. (That will be painful.)

Speaking of the beach...FYI...I started reading one of my all time favorite summer books. It's... A Gift From the Sea, by Anne Morrow Lindburgh, wife of Charles Lindburgh. I read it every summer. In it she sees the various phases of her life thru the various shells that she finds on the beach. Can't recommend it high enough. Will share some of my favorite passages as I read through it again.

A good day. Last night...not so much. Left Sis at HHI Airport with a smile...and then cried all the way home. It was such a great time...and so quiet when she was gone. That always happens when the kids leave. So tough...what to do...hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...you know the answer.

So I went home, got busy, fixed the vacuum cleaner and cleaned and cleaned. The "next thing" helped. Sis called and let me know she was home safe. And I was thankful for a great week.

Today was church...a bit of shopping, cleaning outside...and then in.
Will resume the unpacking tomorrow...didn't do anything at all last week. ...it waited for me
