...and so is Barry or Bob, or Babs...or what ever the name is of the tropical storm/depression that hit today. It's really significant. Trees are down, it rained and blew.

As I got out of my car at the airport, the wind was whipping and blewing like crazy! Worried, I went in and found the US Airways counter and asked the rep if they would be able to land in all the wind. The gal behind the desk tried to reassure me by saying, "Oh, the wind's no problem, they land in wind all the time...the problem is the runway and visibility. The runways to short...and if they break through the clouds and can't see the runway until the last minute they have to pull up and can't land. You know, the ocean is right there."

I was a wreck! An absolute wreck. I'm praying...Lord, you can't let anything happen to her...Thankfully, before to much longer...Sis arrived...two hours late...and a little queezy...but still with her beautiful smile. I was thrilled!!! ...and the girl wanted hush puppies and a glass of reisling . Consider it done...so off to Crazy Crab we went. Loved it.

After dinner, the rain was coming down so hard, we couldn't leave. So, we popped into the bar and there were the Cav's with just a few minutes til the half. Watched a bit and finished the game once we got to 401. What a great night for Cleveland and all the Cavalier players and fans.

Off today and so looking forward to Sis getting in tomorrow evening at 6:45. She has already told me that we'll be going to see Ocean's 13!
and prepping by seeing 11 and 12. Last Sunday, I mentioned to Pastor Roy that she'd be coming, so it will be fun heading over to Grace together!

Things are definitely a lot better around here than they were two weeks ago at this time! Thank heavens! Trust me...the only way to go was up!

It's been really dry here...lots of sun and I can't remember the last time we had rain. These past two weeks, I just left my stuff out on the deck 'til I could get to it. No need to even worry about rain. Of course, everyone wants it to rain...I, on the other hand, want lots of sun for Anita's visit. So let's have lots of "good weather" prayers.

Tomorrow night, Sis will be sleeping down the hall

Tried to write to you last night...it was a funny thing...couldn't get my computer to compute. It had something to do with my wireless moden. Thank heavens, she was up and running again this morning.

Well, I am happy to report that the "Moving-In-Bus" is up rolling again. I have a goal that by tomorrow night things are at least presentable. That would make it two weeks from the time they dropped off all my loot! And my next move will be to "the Home" and I'll let the girls do this. I can just hear them..."can you believe Momma actually bought this junk and thought it looked great?"

Please pray with me for DanaMarie as she starts the first day of her remaining 3 yrs of anesthesia residency training and also for my special girlfriend who lost her husband.

Worked at TFM today. Once home, a dear couple popped by to see what I was up to with my decorating. They were curious about the bistro table and umbrella in the family room.

There is plenty to do...but "hit the moving-in wall!" Couldn't move. Decided to take a break this evening, watch "House" and hit it again tomorrow. Also, had a great Monday evening chat with Lynne on Tuesday! We've learned that a great way to stay connected is our "Standing Call" on Monday evenings. Definitely something I look forward to...and will do again with a girlfriend when separated by miles.

I am seeing progress. Friday will be two weeks since the truck arrived.

More tomorrow...and thankful ...for eyes that see things what needs to be done...arms that lift boxes and legs that get me where I need to do the next thing.

Had coffee with friends this morning at Java Joe's at Coligny Plaza...did a bit of shopping...and worked on unpacking the rest of the day.
At one point today, I was really to have a Move-in-Meltdown! TimeWarner installs their cables with black coaxial cables. What are they thinking! So went out...bought white at Lowes...switched it out...new cablie...no workie! Not even after a half hour on the phone with tech support...(*&&^%$%^$#@@$#$#$%^&*(bad words, bad words)...give me strength!!! They are coming out on Wed. to fix it.

Each day helps...but there is still a lot of stuff to be triaged! At one point, I couldn't find my phone in the rubble...fortunately, Roxie came to the rescue. We often meet on line late and fortunately, she was there. IM'd her...and she called, and I found the little thing between two pillows.
