It's time to get rods hung and fans up...last year I had some wonderful helpful hands behind the scenes. Thank you for all you did to help me. Any chance of a house call in South Carolina?
You asked about the glass shelves...they are for a couple of cupboards in the kitchen that have glass in the front. Now to find an electrician!
Last night I promised to tell you about Cathouse beds. Well, as I'm planning to live in 1600 sq. ft. I've decided that 2 king size beds would work best if both girls and their husbands come down at the same time. Bruce has been nice and said he'd take the aerobed. Soooooo I started doing my homework... Well, I've always loved the metal beds at Arhaus...and somewhere in the back of my brain was the name Carhouse Beds. (Had seen something about it on tv.) Long story short...found the website...sent an email one night late...the owner of the company was up late in Santa Monica, Ca...and answered me immediately. He sent me some pictures and I went crazy...they were gorgeous...150-180 yrs old...authentic iron beds adjusted to accommodate todays queen and king size mattresses. Called the company the next day...and actually talked to him...he runs the business from home. He has the largest inventory of antique iron beds in the country and supplies Ralph Lauren with all his iron beds for his displays. Amazing...but here's the problem...$$$! The one I loved was $3275.00
If you want to have fun...go to ironbeds@cathousebeds.com See if you can find SM#3275. Well, decided to get a grip! and to move on...so, I went to JCPenny.com Now that's a leap! Click on furniture...then bedroom sale...then beds...then metal...check out Genovia! A little different in the $$$ dept! It'll be fine as long as you don't set it next to my "McDreamy" iron bed!
Happy May Day! Love, Sue
