 5/05/07 oh my gosh...

It was just soooooooooo much fun!!! My time in Ashville flew and I'm leaving in the morning, but it was just the best time. We talked, and talked...ate and ate...shopped and shopped...and then talked and laughed and ate some more! Can I tell you how much fun Suzy and I had doing TJMaxx together a la Asheville!!! I'm sure you can picture it now!

Asheville is such a unique city...just unlike any other. Artsy, funkie, foodies, green mountains, diverse culture....are all thoughts that come to mind...complete with an abundance of tie dyed over-the-hill hippie from the 60's,

Leaving in the morning...but can't wait to come back. It was also a blessing in that I was able to see just how "do-able" this is. Hope all is well on your end...please write soon. Love, Sue

 5/04/07 in Asheville, NC

Up early this a.m. to workout and then to head out to Asheville. Arrived at 5:30, just in time to meet Suzy, Norm and Ericka for a fabulous dinner. Asheville is a wonderful place and you could literally eat your way thru this city.

Had a wonderful family time...then Suzy and I stayed up and talked til nearly 2 a.m. It's so good to see them.

Better get some sleep...tomorrow will be a busy day. Good night!

 5/03/07 one of my shortcomings...

It happens to me every time...with a wedding...a graduation...a move...something important... I can't turn off my brain to sleep! I close my eyes and my brain keeps running...don't forget this...gee, I wonder if that would be better placed there...oh, and maybe this would work better. Then about two weeks out...after the homework is done...the pieces are in place...and I can sleep.

Good Night! Love, Sue

 5/02/07 Saudi Arabia..

We've learned that Aaron is to leave in Sept. for 6 months in Saudi Arabia. He will be sent to San Antonio in May for special training. This means that Anita will stay stateside...That's all I know at this time...will keep you updated. Please keep them in your prayers.

Working 7-4p.m. tomorrow and then heading to Ashville N.C. Friday and Saturday to see Norm, Suzy and Ericka...back to HHI on Sunday. I'm looking forward to seeing them and then Sandy and Bilas will be here next week. I'm looking forward to showing them 401!

Next week will be busy at TFM and 401! Hope all is well on your end. Love, Sue

 5/01/07 Tom, Dick and Jim!

It's time to get rods hung and fans up...last year I had some wonderful helpful hands behind the scenes. Thank you for all you did to help me. Any chance of a house call in South Carolina?

You asked about the glass shelves...they are for a couple of cupboards in the kitchen that have glass in the front. Now to find an electrician!

Last night I promised to tell you about Cathouse beds. Well, as I'm planning to live in 1600 sq. ft. I've decided that 2 king size beds would work best if both girls and their husbands come down at the same time. Bruce has been nice and said he'd take the aerobed. Soooooo I started doing my homework... Well, I've always loved the metal beds at Arhaus...and somewhere in the back of my brain was the name Carhouse Beds. (Had seen something about it on tv.) Long story short...found the website...sent an email one night late...the owner of the company was up late in Santa Monica, Ca...and answered me immediately. He sent me some pictures and I went crazy...they were gorgeous...150-180 yrs old...authentic iron beds adjusted to accommodate todays queen and king size mattresses. Called the company the next day...and actually talked to him...he runs the business from home. He has the largest inventory of antique iron beds in the country and supplies Ralph Lauren with all his iron beds for his displays. Amazing...but here's the problem...$$$! The one I loved was $3275.00
If you want to have fun...go to ironbeds@cathousebeds.com See if you can find SM#3275. Well, decided to get a grip! and to move on...so, I went to JCPenny.com Now that's a leap! Click on furniture...then bedroom sale...then beds...then metal...check out Genovia! A little different in the $$$ dept! It'll be fine as long as you don't set it next to my "McDreamy" iron bed!

Happy May Day! Love, Sue
