Heritage is in full swing. They just did a TV spot and said that it is expected to bring in $90 million to island businesses. Kind of hard to even imagine that, isn't it? I guess it's easily the largest single week of the year on the island for restaurants and shoppes. Will let you know how it shapes up.

Tomorrow I get to do the first thing to start to make 401 my own little place. At 3 p.m. a fellow from Windows of Hilton Head will come and measure for a couple of shutters. They put one in one room...and quit! Just need a couple more...white of course

Having been away for a week...then getting back to Easter and the Heritage...I haven't had a moment. Will work on talking some more with the movers. This will be a challenge working full time.

Hope you had a nice Easter Sunday. Pastor Roy gave a good Easter message. His visual aide this morning...a suitcase. Am really thankful for Grace Comm. Church. Then to Suzie Lee's for dinner at her home in Sea Pines. It was a lovely time.

Heard from the kids and Wendy. DanaMarie and Brian arrived in LasVegas just fine. Bruce is good in Columbus...took off his pool cover...only problem...snow was on it! Anita is working on the move to base housing. Aaron studying for his oral boards. Heard from Wendy...she has 10 inches of snow in Westlake. The bunny needs earmuffs!

Thankful for Easter Sunday.

TFM...Very busy...it's an interesting business. Customers are just like patients...only they're healthy and hungry...some you like...some...well, you know. It was a good day.

Great to chat tonight with Sandy...she mentioned all the snow and bad driving conditions. It's unseasonably cold here, too. Down to 42 tonight. Heard they've set a lot of records for colder than normal temps.

It's just bloomin' unbelievable...the amount of chocolate that people buy. When the Easter candy came in...case after case after case...I thought...this must be a mistake...Nobody could sell all this junk. You believe me...It's nearly gone!!! Today was
Custom Baskets on the Spot Day...set up a table...baskets, grass, candy, shrink wrap, a bow and ...voila! And people buy this stuff...it amazes me. Just for fun...I did one basket...all Godiva...fabulous ribbon...jazzed it up with pearls...put $50.00 on it...It Sold! Unbelievable!...I thought...(until I learned that the guy bought it for his Mom)...well, OK...he went from "nutzo" to sweetheart! It definitely shows how little I know about retail!
