I am richly blessed in many, many ways...not the least of which is my amazing girlfriends. Definitely, my lifeline of love and support over the past year and a half. One precious YaYa sister is my dear friend, Sister Dorothy Jackson. If you know her, you know it's a blessing and a priviledge to call her friend. Got an email from her today...and as I begin to make the move from Akron to Hilton Head, she said in one sentence the very prayer of my heart. She wrote, "distance will never separate our friendship and love, it will just give me another place to visit." To know her and her amazing heart is a real gift. Thank you, Sister Dorothy for putting into words, the thoughts and prayer of my heart. You were the best part of my day. Love, Sue

Cleveland to Louisville...LATE!...Louisville to Charlotte...LATE!!...Charlotte to Savannah...LATE!!! Flying is a major pain! Overbooked and understaffed (kind of reminds me of the hospital)...if you get where you're going on time...it's the exception...not the norm. My advice for air travel today...don't wear a belt, jewelry or and underwire bra!...slip on shoes and little carry-on stuff...is the order of the day. Then get rested up and prayed up before you go...because Heaven knows...it could take a long time to get where you're going...and will require the patience of Job! There...I feel better!

I'm amazed at how fast this week has flown... Playhouse Square...Legends...flower factory...Jannie's b'day...Chapel Spring breakfast...a little decorating...a little shopping...great friend time...Grace Community...and time in Kentucky with DanaMarie, Brian and Buckeye!!! Time to go to HHI and get some rest!

Out tomorrow at 3:30 and into Savannah at 7:30...back at Harbourmaster around 9 p.m.

A sunny day in Louisville...84 and not a cloud in the sky. Lots of great time to chat with DanaMarie...and plenty of "Buckeye" time. DanaMarie and Brian have a darling fenced in backyard. We sat out and Buckeye loved playing, digging and chewing his way through the afternoon.

We watched the "big game" tonight and little Buckeye did his best to help out his namesake...but it wasn't to be. I predict the OSU freshmen will be back to the big dance.

9:30 service this morning at Grace Community. It's always such a treat to get to go. Dave Shroyer at the keyboard is just wonderful. Got to see Susie !!! and Karen Hamilton !!! Two really cool ladies.

Back to Traci Lane to pack. It was a great weekend. The only downside...just not enough time to see everybody that I wanted to see. Will correct that with visits over the next weeks and months. Cindy asked if I was going to feel bad when it came time to leave Akron. My answer...No, because in my mind, I'm not leaving never to return. I plan on taking my girlfriends up on their offer to give me a soft place to land when I fly in for a visit...and I promise to return the favor on my end in HHI.

Leaving Cleveland proved to be a bit of a challenge. My flight to Chgo. was delayed due to wind and rain in Illinois...delayed long enough to make me miss my connecting flight. Fortunately, I was able to get a seat on another flight to Louisville. However, rather than leaving at 5:35 p.m. ...we pulled out of the gate at 8:45 p.m. and I arrived on time at 10:00 p.m. So, I did manage to get a few emails answered as I waited. Thank you for a great weekend in Akron. It was definitely two thumbs up!!!
