Our boy is not having a good day! Wonder whatever happened to Audrey. As far as I know...she still thinks he's in a prison in China! By the time she finds out...I'm thinking that Marilyn will be a problem . Had my debriefing session with Lynne. Love that...

Getting ready for Bruce's visit. Can't wait. Pray for good weather...and I'll pray for good weather for you there!

Worked 8-5 today. Really hated missing out on Pastor Roy's message.

I did have a chance to help a gentleman that came in and was looking at the flowers. He said he wanted to take a gift to a couple that had him over for dinner last night. I asked him what he liked...we found some beautiful roses to do an arrangement. He went on to explain that he lost his wife of 60 years in Dec '05. These people had also invited a lady friend for him to meet. He said he'd been out 6-7 times...how hard it was...and that no one was even close to his wife. I listened...helped him...found out his wifes diagnosis...he left with not only something he liked.... He had been able to talk... some words of encouragement ...He left smiling . As Norm would say, "That's a good thing!"

Home and then out to the Market Street Cafe for dinner with Bob and Marion. It was a wonderful time! Love them

Today at the market...the coffee girl, upon showing me how to do pricing said, "I think you're smart enough to do this." Hmmm...nope, I didn't say a thing, other than, I'd be sure and ask if I had any questions. Back at the bottom or the organization. Humility...Lord, didn't I already learn that lesson? Apparently, not enough. This is when I know to be quiet, put my head down and just do!

As David always said, Truth and Time go hand in hand.

Tonight I went to the movie with Christina, a trainor at my gym, and her husband. Saw...Wild Hogs, with John Travola. Don't look for any Academy Award nods for this one. The best past of the movie was a cameo appearance by Peter Fonda...Easy Rider!

Day Off! Popped into Hinchey's Chicago Style Pub for a quick dinner with Kathy...a gal that lives here at Harbourmaster. Looked in and there sat Bob and Marion Nemer having dinner! Hugs, Hugs, Hugs!!! It was so good to see them.

Going to hit the hay early...think I'm fighting a bug. Love, S.

Next week at this time Bruce will be here!!! That's a good thing. Can't wait!!! He'll be here Thurs---Sunday.

Off tomorrow...clean, manicure, workout...then the Fresh Market Friday...til he gets here. That should be interesting. 5 days in a row... I think I'll get one of those little pedometer thingy's and see how many miles I log.

It was a good day. I can't believe the amount of flowers that go out the door. Did 25 gift bags for the Marriot...kind of like gift bags for a small wedding..... without the tulle! They were happy with them and also a couple of custom gift baskets. They were done with items all related to Italian food. Finished it off with a red, white and green ribbon bow (lg, of course..)...complete with wooden spoon. They were fun. Actually, having done so much of this stuff over the years...it's kind of fun doing it as a job. The classical music in the background is nice, too.

Time to finish my tea and hit the hay. I'm bushed...
