Skybus tanked...folded...kapput! You gotta be kidding...there goes my tickets to C'bus to see the kids for the Derby...and also home for Tik and Marshall's daughter's wedding. Back to the drawing board...........AGAIN! (getting a little tired of the drawing board ).

Heard of a doggie bidet ...it consists of a large tray filled with sod and placed on patios for doggies to ...you know! Hmmmmmmm, that may have potential. Found sod on HHI...will give it a go!

Found a hat...a very hot pink...very large...very, very large hat! It's great! Where??? At TJMAXX, of course! People in the store were saying..."You have to buy that hat." It really is fun. But the size...Don't want the kids to think..."Good Grief...she IS ours, but do I HAVE to walk with her?" Sent the girls a pic...they said...It's a GO! Will try and attach it to the blog so you can see it.

In the meantime, time to call it a day.

This was an interesting development... 

There was a part time position in the lab with benefits at Memorial.  In a nutshell, it's to draw labs on patients in the lab and on the floors.  Granted...it's a rather large step back from what I ususally do ...but it's a start....it WAS part time...and
did have Benefits.  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...Have started at the bottom before...it's OK...just get in there...work...do the job...the next step takes care of itself.  Or so I thought...not so.  I was kicked out by HR less than 24 hours after I submitted my resume, only to be notified via email.  No clue...we'll see. They didn't even check my references.

That didn't feel good... unpleasant...sometimes it feels like one step forward and 1 1/2 back.  Back to the drawing board....  Gee, this is fun!  I need a little "New Purse Therapy!"

Back to Rule #1..."do the next thing"........
This isn't for sissies.
The good news is...Experience has taught me that when something like this happens...something better is around the corner.
That still small voice says..."trust and pray."

Up this morning at 4:45 and to work at 5:20...did the "flower thing" early so I could also make it to the Zonta meeting. Am blessed to have a job and boss that accommodate my schedule...time to travel home...time with the kids and friends and now Zonta.

The meeting was a year end review of the various service projects that they've done. That was a good thing to see. It was also good to see how much fun the gals have together.

Then back to the hospice thrift store...more work on the fashion show...dinner with friends at a local pub...and time to chill at 401. Whew!

Am meeting tomorrow evening with a gal that lost her husband...met her thru a friend at church.

Time to call it a day...

Back to Single Moms tonight after a two week break! After dinner, lugged in the "rags"....(as in clothes for the fashion show...one of the euphemisms for the fashion industry is...the "rag business")!

Was able to do fittings on two of the gals and that went well. They were pleased with the clothes. Thankful for that !

Work at TFM in the morning and then to a Zonta meeting at noon. Am interested to see how that unfolds. Will keep you posted. If you are interested in checking out what I've gotten into...google

Didn't realize it was April Fool's Day until I had on the news and heard Hilary challenge Barak to a bowling game to settle the score in Pennsylvania. Somebody needs to tell her she's...........Not Funny!

Popped over to Hospice Thrift Store after work. Picked up some more outfits...then to church to drop them off. Single Moms tomorrow evening. That should be fun...we'll be working on the fashion show.

It was a beautiful day...worked in an hour on the beach with my book.
