Arrived back from Jax...a.k.a. Jacksonville 3 hours late. The traffic was a steady ribbon moving along I-95 at a snail's pace. Snowbird's returning home, spring breakers and an accident were to blame.Attending the conference was a good thing. Time spent getting to know the gals was another good step in getting aquainted at church. The music was like attending a contemporary concert. The lessons were presented in a highly animated "Texas" fashion with good power point and visual aides. The content was encouraging.Came home to a dozen beautiful red roses from the kids...with a note that read...get ready to "Run for the Roses!" Love, Anita, Aaron, Bruce, DanaMarie and Brian. Instantly, I KNEW!!! We were going to the Kentucky Derby...Hurray!!! Have always wanted to wear a large hat, a pretty dress...and hear them sing "My Old Ky. Home" ( It was on my Bucket List!) Am soooooooooooo excited!!! and know I'm blessed and have the best kids in the world. Thankful I went...and thankful to be home.Have a great Sunday.Much love, Sue
