Anita is back at home as off 2 PM today. She is one very thankful gal to be home.
In a nutshell, here's a recap and where we are...
She developed pain and swelling in her right arm on Sunday.
Monday she was diagnosed with a clot in her subclavian vein and admitted to the hospital in Portsmouth.
Tuesday they did the angio-jet and started her on clot-busters.
Wednesday they did a re-look and decided that some of the narrowing was due to her years of working out as an athlete.
Today she was discharged and will be on blood thinners for 1-3 months. They will monitor her and then decide if she needs surgery.
Driving home today she said, "one day closer to being off Coumadin!" Her attitude is great...and we're so thankful for your prayers.
Please know how grateful we are for each and every one.
Our love and thanks........
Now, off to have a birthday dinner and a movie to celebrate Aaron!
